What We Do
The Jackie Aziz (Jax) Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program supports people aged 15-39 through every step of their cancer experience with care designed specifically for this stage of life.
We bridge the gap between pediatric and adult care by providing:

Personalized support to help you understand your options, including fertility, clinical trials, and AYA-specific resources.
Trials & Research
Helping you find and navigate trials and AYA-focused research studies that may be right for you.
Emotional Support
Real conversations, peer connection, and support that reflects what you’re actually going through.
AYA Community & Activities
Safe spaces to connect, share, and feel understood—because no one should go through this alone.
The program provides comprehensive, age-appropriate care, support, and research for patients ages 15–39 at the McGill University Health Centre, addressing the unique medical, psychosocial, and life-stage challenges faced by this population. Through community-building and meaningful connection, JAX works to reduce isolation, foster belonging, and ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
